Donate or Join Our Team now, For the 2017 RBC Race For The Kids !!
Once a year I ask my family and friends to give me money and in return I give them a hug, high five or if your lucky, a kiss. For one night I’ll even give them a burger and a pint of beer!
Why, you ask? Because once a year(around the end of May, beginning of June) I participate in the BC Children’s Hospital’s Run for the Kids during their Miracle Weekend Fundraising efforts. The money raised during the Run For The Kids goes directly to Childhood Cancer Research and Pediatric mental health initiatives. Wanna know the best part? Like, besides funding research that will one day cure pediatric cancer and help kids deal with the mental side effects of diagnosis, treatment and everything else that comes along with having cancer at a young age..
We do it all in Lilee-Jean’s name.

I also did this at my birthday party last Sept and have $45 to contribute. My birthday is on the anniversary of LJ’s, passing so I have always felt a strong connection with your story.
